Veteran peer specialists leverage lived experience to guide their peers through every step: initial outreach, benefits navigation, housing placement, and ongoing support. They serve as cultural brokers, building trust and reducing stigma.

Street outreach teams canvas known encampments and hotspots, connecting unsheltered veterans with immediate necessities—shelter, food, medical triage, and a listening ear. Our peer specialists share lived experience to build trust, then coordinate emergency beds via the Homeless Shelter Directory or 24/7 crisis support through the Veterans Crisis Line (Dial 988).
